Networking with professionals.
Where students connect with professionals in the local technology industry to further strengthen their technical acumen
As an extension of the HackAppleton competition, the Appleton Youth Education Initiative hosts a tech clinic for high school students interested in developing their skills in technology. The tech clinic offers students the opportunity to work directly with leaders in the field to learn what a career in technology looks like and develop the skills needed in those careers.
Students work on the same projects as their mentor is working on, which represents a singular opportunity to receive hands-on experience while still in high school. The tech clinic also offers opportunities for students to improve their coding and technology skills at their own pace. These skills are especially vital in the increasingly technologically oriented workplace.
